So why would you decide to get THESE t-thirts, instead of any infinite variety of other ones?
The American textile industry is in a state of revival, and it’s been a long time coming. The blank t-shirts are sourced from a wholesale manufacturer in Los Angeles. To be totally transparent, the cotton and polyester base materials are sourced from a combination of domestic and overseas sources. BUT, this is just a starting point and the goal is to manufacture the blank shirts in-house with the base fabrics coming in straight from Texas farms around Austin. This operation is pretty small at the moment and we’re doing our best.
There’s not a whole lot we can tell you about the quality of the material unless you try it for yourself! The polyester/cotton combination is soft AND durable to keep you comfy and protected for the beach, the gym, the bar, the mountains, or wherever else you’re at!
I knew going into this, that the project couldn’t just be about me. There’s a lot of great causes out there, but I need to focus on ONE in order to have any significant impact in the world.
